NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is conducted by the Council of Architecture and is required for B.Arch admission at most architecture colleges in India.

What is the NATA exam pattern?

In recent years NATA has been a 3-hour, 200-mark exam: Part A tests drawing and composition (80 marks) and Part B tests aptitude, reasoning and maths (120 marks). The format changes from year to year, so always check the latest brochure at nata.in.

How many times can I take NATA?

NATA is usually offered on more than one test date in a year, and the better score is typically considered. Check the current year's rules on nata.in.

Is maths required for B.Arch?

Yes, B.Arch admission usually requires Physics, Chemistry and Maths in Class 12. Some institutes, including NITs and SPA, admit through JEE Main Paper 2A instead of NATA.
